Hello everyone! Happy Monday!
I wanted to let everyone know that I have decided to donate any of my surplus to a dear friend of mine. His name is Gary Smith. He has made a commitment to God and to himself to feed 4000 people this year.
Every Friday night Gary makes 40 PB&J sandwiches or lunch meat sandwiches (whichever he gets on sale or donated). He delivers them to Serve City on East Avenue every Saturday afternoon and passes them out to the needy.
If you do not have a favorite charity or anyone that can use your surplus, (always take care of family first), please consider donating to him. He specifically can use paper lunch bags, baggies, napkins or paper towels, bread, peanut butter, jelly, lunch meat, and more than that he would very much appreciate any commitments to help make sandwiches on Friday nights. You can do this at your home and deliver them to me or to him. If anyone is interested in helping, please let me know what you would like to do and I can help coordinate it. He would truly appreciate any help at all. If you can only afford to make 6 sandwiches, that is 6 less for him to make. God will bless you for it.
Any surplus that Gary receives will be donated to Serve City to be distributed by them to the ones in need.
Thank you all in advance.
