Hi everyone, I apologize that I have abandoned my blog for the past 2 weeks. My big sister has been in town and we have had a wonderful time together, shopping and saving! She LOVES to save money and I am fairly sure that another one has bitten the dust and now has hit addict status on coupons! I want to tell you a few of the things that we have purchased over the past week.
At Kroger we purchased over 100 cans of Chef Boyardee Ravioli, Spaghetti and Meatballs and Beefaroni! Here is how we did it!
Kroger has these items on the Daytona 500 Promotion at $.69 per can. Purchase 10 cans and use 3 of the coupons $.35 off of 3 found in the 01/02/11 SS insert. Total = $4.80 or $.48 per can. Catalina Coupon after the sale returned $3.00!
We had multiple coupons so purchased 10 more cans, using 3 more of the $.35 off of 3 cans and then used the $3.00 coupon from our first purchase. Final cost on the second group of 10 = $ 1.80 and we repeated this until we ran out of coupons! What a great deal!
Frank's Hot Sauce at Kroger everyday is $ 1.19 each. We used a $ .50 SS coupon (can't remember the week they are from), after doubling, Final cost = .19 each What a deal.
The next deal got us both very excited! At Walmart we purchased Gain Dryer Sheets 80 pack at $ 3.12. We used our coupons from the P & G Everyday Savings Book Insert for $3.00 off! Final Price = $.12 per box!
On so on we went...Meijer's was next on the trip for Carefree Panty Liners. Meijer's everyday price is $1.04. Using our $.50 off coupon from the SS 2/13/11 insert and after coupon doubled, Final Price = $.04 per pack! Almost a steal but definitely an awesome deal!
If you are in search of additional coupons you can try several things, try using a Coupon Clipping service, such as mine, email me at crazycouponwoman@yahoo.com and let me know which coupons or inserts that you are interested in. I accept Paypal or local pick up. I will mail but must receive cleared payment first. You can click on Smart Source or Red Plum for online coupons. Another good resource is Facebook. Many companies now have Facebook pages and post coupons, contests and other offers on their facebook pages. You can also try writing to company and tell them how much you like their products and simply ask if they could send you some coupons.
I will close for now and try to get organized for the next shopping trip! Many happy bargains to you!
